How soon can I get started?
You can order printed resources straight away. Your Learning Management System will be set up within 24 hours of your order with your students already enrolled in the first batch of units that you have purchased for them.
Do I have to buy a full qualification?
No, you only need to purchase what you require, whether that be 1 unit or many. This applies to both our printed and eLearning products.
Who writes your resources?
All Learn for Work resources are written by experts and are validated and mapped by compliance and audit specialists.
Will Learn for Work be adding more resources to their catalogue?
Learn for Work are constantly developing new resources. Join our mailing list to keep informed of future product releases.
We also would love to hear from you regarding your resource needs.
If you think that the amount of a particular unit or qualification that you need is not enough for us to develop products please ask us anyway. Across our client base your requirements, when added to other requests, might make it viable for us to develop them – contact us to let us know what you need regardless of the quantity.
What is the difference between a Learning Guide and a Trainer/Assessor Guide?
Both Learning Guides and Trainer/Assessor Guides are laid out the same way to assist with the delivery of training and assessment. The Trainer/Assessor Guide includes suggested answers and responses to the assessment activities and comprehensive marking guides and instructions for Trainer/Assessors.
How often are Learn for Work resources updated and what is the process?
Learn for Work resources are reviewed on an annual basis, and when Industry Reference Committees (IRC) change training packages.
We monitor and keep up-to-date with all IRC revisions of training packages and we release the updated versions of our products as quickly as possible thereafter.
How is the Learn for Work Learning Management System accessed?
Upon approval of a Learn for Work account, you will be provided with a unique URL to administer your online training. You can allocate Administrators and Trainers to this account, who in turn will enrol students into their required units of competency.
What support and training is available for my LMS?
Your Learning Management System is hosted, maintained and fully supported by us, 24/7/365.
We show you and your staff how to use the system and provide all support and training free of charge.
Which Learning Management Systems (LMS) is integration available with?
The Learn for Work Learning Management System is a Moodle LMS and integrates with all popular LMSs using Learning Tool Interoperability (LTI) functionality.
This means that integration is available with LMSs such as:
- Moodle
- Canvas
- Desire2Learn/Brightspace
- Sakai
- Blackboard
Which Student Management Systems is integration available with?
Learn for Work integrates with most popular Student Management Systems such as VETtrak.
Can Learn for Work’s online resources be customised?
Yes, customisation services are available. Talk to one of our customer service staff to discover the customisation option that is most suitable to you.
Can I have my logo on my books and on my Learning Management System?
Yes, both services are provided free of charge.
What are Learn for Work’s freight charges?
Our current standard freight prices are:
- 1 – 5 units: $25 GST inclusive
- 6-25 units: $35 GST inclusive
- 26-50 units: $45 GST inclusive
- 51 + units: $65 GST inclusive
Overnight delivery may incur additional charges, our customer service team can provide you with quotations for overnight deliveries.
